“Mandy Reid is one of the UK’s most exciting new producers; she is one of the most exciting electronic artists to come out of Ireland for many years…..she is a fantastic DJ and an incredible producer to boot”- Carl Cox

Mandy Reid aka Armandi & Disco Construction is one of the hottest names in house at the moment with her current record ‘Tornado’ getting smashed by all the biggest names and featuring on some of the biggest and most influential radio stations across the globe. Including Carl Cox featuring her on The Global Lowdown segment of his internet radio show & the world’s number one DJ Paul Van Dyk choosing Mandy for his new producer feature whilst standing in for Eddie Halliwell’s Residency show on BBC Radio one!!
Since Mandy’s first release as Disco Construction in 2004 with Size Records, the long awaited follow up to “Can’t Get Enough” is finally here in the form of ‘Bring It Back Round Again’. Pioneered by Paul van Dyk and picking up huge support by the minute this unique record with its contradiction of old skool piano riff and nu skool driving, funky electro basslines is set to become a monster anthem.
On the flip rising production star Andy BopH works his dark magic, cutting up the riff and beefing up the bassline offering a no holds barred jacking electro peak time anthem mix certain to ignite the fire on any dancefloor.
Expect 2008 to be the year of Mandy Reid!

“Mandy Reid pres. Disco Construction – Bring It Back Round Again (UMM)
For those of you who have heard ‘Up The Tempo’ and witnessed its floor-wrecking capabilities, think a slightly slower, happier feeling vibe mixed with Mandy’s now trademark pumping, retro-warehouse synth stabs layered up with a faint piano and that pretty much sums up ‘Bring It Back Round Again’, I imagine to be released through UMM in 2008. Don’t miss two more of Mandy’s new tracks, ‘Tornado’ and ‘Noise 4 Fun’, forthcoming on Spinnin’ imprint Reset. The first Disco Construction record was made three years ago, signed to Swede Steve Angello’s illustrious Size Records, but it has certainly been worth the wait alright. Mandy is also signed to Bonzai, having put out club stormers like ‘Philtre’ and ‘Pitch Blend’ that caused Carl Cox to get on the dog and bone to request all her productions, and also none other than Paul van Dyk to select Mandy as his featured producer when he stood in for Eddie Halliwell recently on BBC Radio 1. With the demise of the Arena in Armagh over the years, Mandy is now found at the Coach in Banbridge, and has never looked back since. A massive production career is unfolding it seems with four heavyweight dance labels and several A-List DJs giving her their support. Let’s hear it for Ireland’s first lady of dance – www.mandyreid.co.uk.”
